Play When Bored ("we", "us") operates playwhenbored.com. This page explains what information is collected when you use the site.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, emails or other personal details unless you contact us directly. Games may store your progress in your browser's local storage; this data stays on your device.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics and/or Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic, for example which pages are popular and which countries visitors come from.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads to keep the games free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

Embedded games

Some games are provided by third-party developers or distribution partners and may set their own cookies or show their own ads, governed by their own privacy policies.

Children

Our games are suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
